Dr. Philip Masaulo MPH, is a regional Service Delivery Manager. He has overall responsibility for service delivery implementation and quality of programs in Western Region. He is responsible for providing direction and technical guidance to the technical teams and ensuring they are able to work smoothly and efficiently.
He deputizes the regional director with whom he works closely with for proper planning, organizing, staffing, and coordination of program activities, to ensure achievement of targets and intended impact.
Dr. Masaulo has vast experience in implementation of public health programs in the public sector. Over the last 15 years, he has held various leadership positions; most recently, being the County Director of Health in Embu. Under his leadership, Embu County won an award as the best County in Health Information, Monitoring and Evaluation in 2016. He participated in drafting Embu’s Specific HIV strategic framework and is well versed as a trainer in quality improvement concepts in Kenya Quality Model for Health (KQMH).
He worked as a Medical Superintendent in Kilgoris and Longisa District hospitals for over 5 years under PEPFAR funding. Dr. Masaulo has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Moi University, Kenya and holds a Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery.
