Daraja project Mid-term evaluation of HIV Prevention interventions among Key and general population
Daraja project is one of our largest HIV prevention project, which aims to increase access and scale-up of comprehensive, evidence-based HIV prevention, and care and treatment interventions for Key Population (KP) and Priority Population (PP), and reduce HIV risk behaviours, new infections and deaths. It is implemented in Nairobi and Kiambu counties targeting the Kenya population with HIV prevention services. This mid-term evaluation measures the outcomes of different strategies being employed in the LVCT Health-Daraja Project across the HIV cascade among Key Populations from 2016 to 2019. In addition, we assessed the factors affecting the uptake of these services in our sites. This was done to identify gaps and provide insight on measures to be put in place to ensure the effective delivery of health services in the Project to improve the efficiency of the LVCT Health-Daraja project as a whole.
