Anthony Okoth is the Chairman of the Board at LVCT Health. He is currently the Country Director of Africa Resource Centre in Kenya with over 26 years of experience in the Commercial and public health sectors across the sub-Saharan African region. He has served as the Country Director at the Clinton Health Access Initiative(CHAI), PATH and Population Services International (PSI) for over ten years; having had direct engagements with key donors such as the Department for International Development (DFID), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Presidents Malarial Initiative (PMI) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) overseeing the implementation of programs across several demographics while ensuring effective organizations operations.
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from Daystar University; A Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi; A Diploma in Pharmacy, A degree in BSc and a certificate in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management from the Harvard Business School. He has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Public Health School, in implementing the science program since 2014.
Anthony joined the LVCT Health Board of Directors in 2021 and has had the privilege of sitting on several governance boards and health committees. He is also a co-founding member of the Kenya Health Leader’s Forum, which brings together 14 leading organizations that contribute over $180 million annually to the health sector in Kenya through several bilateral agreements.
