To enhance the technical capacity of supervisors in support of transitioning, ownership, and sustainability of HIV/TB services in Homa Bay and Kisii Counties, LVCT Health’s Vukisha95 project facilitated a supervisory skills development training for Department of Health staff.

Conducted by officials from the Kenya School of Government, the training aimed to enhance supervisory skills and equip participants with the necessary tools to oversee integrated HIV/TB services effectively, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.

The capacity-building initiative engaged health managers, program officers with supervisory roles at CHMT/SCHMT levels, and facility in-charges at both county and sub-county levels.

These trainings are designed to improve the quality of HIV and TB service delivery in both counties, thereby strengthening the county health systems.

Strengthening health systems is crucial for achieving self-reliance, ensuring that HIV and TB services are county-led, county-owned, and county-funded.
