LVCT Health will join the Kenyan delegation #KENYAatAIDS2018 at the 22nd International AIDS Conference (IAS) in Amsterdam, Netherlands 23-27 July 2018. The International AIDS Conference is the largest conference on any global health issue in the world. The Conference was first convened during the peak of the AIDS epidemic in 1985, it continues to provide a unique forum for the intersection of science, advocacy, and human rights

The theme of IAS 2018 is “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges”, drawing attention to the need of rights-based approaches to more effectively reach key populations, as one of the population at high risk of HIV infection. LVCT Health implements programmes within 25 counties of Kenya targeting the key population as one of the drivers on new HIV infections in Kenya. The conference will be a great learning and sharing event for us.

LVCT Health will present 1 oral and 2 poster presentations, which highlight our contribution in HIV prevention in Kenya. We will also make presentations at different sessions during the preconference and conference sessions. Follow this link to get the LVCT Health road map at the IAS 2018.
