COVID-19 & HIV: Continuing services with and for marginalised people

LVCT Health joined other Frontline AIDS partners from different parts of the world to discuss how they had adapted their HIV interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Executive Director, Dr. Lilian Otiso made a presentation at the Webinar which highlighted how the livelihoods of the marginalised populations we serve were affected by the safety measures, leading to a disruption in service provision. She also shared measures LVCT Health had put in place to ensure there was a continuation of service delivery while maintaining the set-out COVID-19 safety measures.

Other speakers from South Arica, Uganda and Zimbabwe shared their experiences, which were followed by a live discussion with people from different communities affected by the pandemic. You can also find a summary of the presentations below.
