Dr. Oyaro is currently the Chief of Party for the LVCT Health led- USAID Stawisha Pwani program, to increase the use of quality county-led health services in Kilifi, Kwale, Mombasa, and Taita Taveta counties. The program works to strengthen the county health systems with a focus on HIV Prevention & Treatment, Family Planning, Reproductive, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (FP/ RMNCAH), and Nutrition. The program will support the four-county governments toward sustainability in quality and systems of health services.

He is a medical doctor and public health specialist who has more than 17 years. Through years of experience in various institutions and collaborations, he has acquired technical and management skills in health and environmental policy formulation and health service implementation. Dr. Oyaro’s success has been necessitated by diligence, belief in evidence-based and quality service provision, the balance between task and people-oriented leadership, balanced team membership, integrity, and accountability in financial management.
