LVCT Health endorses the 3rd International Workshop on HIV & Adolescence

We are pleased to endorse and participate at the 3rd International Workshop on HIV & Adolescence to be held in 2nd -4th October 2019, Nairobi, Kenya.

The International Workshop on HIV & Adolescence is a key platform that brings together researchers, implementers, youth and other stakeholders working with adolescents affected by and living with HIV. Through developing collaborations and solutions, this workshop aims to optimize the health and overall well-being of all adolescents.

As a key player working with the adolescent and young people in Kenya while offering them HIV prevention services, this workshop will help us showcase our achievements and innovations in reaching this critical mass in addressing HIV in Kenya.

The conference program will cover the entire spectrum of developmental changes in adolescents including social, behavioral, physiological and biological aspects and the impact of an HIV positive status. Prevention programs, testing, treatment and support services among adolescents shall be discussed. The barriers encountered in delivering these services and ways to mitigate these barriers shall be key areas of discussion during the workshop.
