Nyanza COVID 19 Prevention Commodities Distribution

In supporting the Kenyan government in containing the COVID -19 Pandemic, LVCT health supported the Kenyan prisons by providing prevention materials for the inmates in Nyanza region.
The commodities were presented to the regional commander’s office for distribution to other prisons.

Nyanza Region has a total of 14 prisons across Kisumu, Siaya, Homabay, Migori, Kisii and Kericho Counties and was part of the beneficiaries in the COVID 19 prevention program. The commodities distributed include surgical masks, hand sanitizers, sewing machines and gloves to be distributed across the prisons.
