LVCT Health was 1st runner up in the diversity and inclusivity category at the just concluded Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) award 2019. We were edged out by Safaricom who was the overall winner. LVCT Health was defending the title having won it last year triumphing over seasoned competitors from private and public sectors. Buoyed by this success LVCT Health participated in another category, Leadership, and Governance, in this year’s 2019 Awards. The category checked on legal governance and compliance audits, gender diversity (women) at the board level. LVCT health was number 8 out of the 10 best companies. There were 134 companies participating in the annual event. The Employer of the Year Award is meant to publicly honor employers implementing best practices. Through such exposure, employers have an extra channel of enhancing their brand profile as leading and responsible employers in Kenya, contributing both to economic prosperity and industrial relations in Kenya.
